This video looks at a more global perspective to identify regions that would most benefit from trees to combat air pollution.
We did a similar calculation locally to target areas most in need of trees (higher than average air pollution levels + lacking street trees) and with the invaluable cooperation of the city of Hamilton's forestry department, local councillors, neighbourhood hubs, and OPIRG McMaster, we've had five great summers of success.
